We run many clinics for the management of chronic diseases and offer a wide variety of medical services.
Various chronic disease clinics are run daily by the Practice Nurse. Please contact reception if you wish to book on these clinics.
Flu, Shingles and Pneumo clinics are run by the Practice Nurse during the winter period once the vaccines are available.
Cervical Smears
These are carried out by the Practice Nurse. All women between 25 and 64 years of age should have regular smears, ideally every 3 years.This is a simple procedure, but please request a smear appointment. Three weeks after your smear the result will be posted to you.
Family Planning
A comprehensive service is available during normal surgery consultations. The Practice Nurse is also available for family planning advice and services.
Vaccinations and Immunisations
Children’s vaccinations are carried out by the Health Visitor by appointment.
Baby immunisations
Pre-school booster. It is important that you are fully immunised against all childhood diseases.
